Internships

Internships are available working with Ecuadorexplorer.com and VivaTravelGuides.com.

6 month internships from:
Jan 10-June 20, and June 10-Dec 1
Cost of living stipend paid, in Quito, Ecuador
Summer Internships are available, but a minimum 6 month commitment is required for stipend.

Positions:
Writers and Editors
Associate webmaster and designer

Writer & Editor - responsibilities include travel writing, coordination of other writers, editing text, photos, and entry into html for publication. Excellent writing and editorial skills and experience in print or WWW writing or publishing required. Must be able to work independently, work well with people, have basic knowledge of Spanish language, and have an adventurous spirit.

Associate Webmaster - responsibilities include designing, building, updating websites. Creativity, a good eye for layout and design, and programming experience desired.

Required:

• Demonstrated web design/html editor, Photoshop and or Fireworks ability
  
• Ability to speak/write English fluently with some knowledge of Spanish
  
• Ability to follow-through on assignments and meet deadlines
  
• Experience managing web sites
